MMS ADVOCATES LLP is delighted to be participating in the ongoing County Theatre Fiesta, an initiative organized by the Kenya International Theatre Festival Trust, in partnership with the Kenya Cultural Centre. The initiative is designed to empower and nurture emerging theatre talent at grassroot level, and will be happening in a select pool of counties, namely: Uasin Gishu, Kisumu, Nakuru, Embu, Kiambu & Mombasa.
MMS ADVOCATES LLP has joined the initiative as part of the training team and will be taking the participants through various legal topics & concepts, such as Intellectual Property Rights, the different business structures available for registration, Contracts, among others.
Participation in the event is informed by the firm’s commitment towards empowering the youth, especially in the Creative sector, and in furtherance of our very own Sanaa Kama Biashara initiative, a program tailored towards empowering artists in the coastal region by imparting critical business & legal skills, enabling them to professionalize their craft and earn a living off it.
Our very own Advocate & Business Development Manager, Alan Wanjohi, is currently representing the firm during the first circuit of the event, presently being held in the counties of Uasin Gishu & Kisumu.
