On Wednesday, 11th October 2023, the Taita Sanaa Kama Biashara program kicked off with its second cohort in Taita Taveta. This unique initiative brings together talented visual and performing artists, providing them with essential knowledge and skills to thrive in the creative industry. The program covered important topics such as Copyright, led by Sharon Wata from KECOBO (Kenya Copyright Board), and Trademarks, which were led by Felicia Solomon, partner at MMS Advocates.
This valuable learning experience is made possible through a partnership between MMS Advocates and the County of Taita Taveta. By empowering artists with insights into legal aspects like copyrights and trademarks, the program aims to support their creative endeavors and foster a thriving artistic community in the region.
